Every certification on this page is verified by a third party on a recurring cycle. None of it is self-declared, and all of it is available to you as a PDF the same business day you ask.

ISO 9001:2015

Our quality management system is certified to ISO 9001:2015 and covers blending, distribution, and laboratory services at both facilities.

In practice that means documented procedures, controlled documents, traceable batch records, calibrated instruments, retained samples, and a corrective action process that an external auditor examines rather than takes our word for.

For a customer the visible effect is simple: every blended batch is released against a written specification with analytical results on file, and a question about a lot delivered eighteen months ago can still be answered.

Responsible Distribution

Responsible Distribution is the chemical distribution industry’s management-system standard, and participation is a condition of association membership. It is verified by third-party audit on a recurring cycle.

It covers the whole handling chain: supplier and carrier selection, product stewardship, storage and segregation, transportation safety, employee training, emergency response, community awareness, and documented continuous improvement.

Requesting certificates

Current certificates are available on request. Email documents@mileschemical.com or call (818) 504-3355 and they go out the same business day.

If you are running a supplier qualification, ask for the whole package at once — certificates, insurance, W-9, and a completed questionnaire come back together rather than one at a time.

Auditing us

Customers are welcome to audit either facility. Several do annually. Contact your account manager to schedule; both sites are active industrial operations so a visit needs booking rather than a drop-in.
