Analytical Laboratory
The laboratory is why the quality system has teeth. It releases every batch we blend, and it is available to customers as a service in its own right.
Three jobs
Batch release. Nothing blended here ships without analysis against its specification. That is the ISO 9001:2015 requirement and it is the reason a Certificate of Analysis means something.
Customer analysis. Send a bath sample and get titration results with a recommended addition schedule. Most of our plating and water treatment customers use this monthly.
Formulation development. Matching a product you already buy, or building something to a performance requirement you have not been able to meet.
Bath analysis, specifically
Plating chemistry lives or dies on analysis. Zinc metal, chloride, boric acid, pH, brightener consumption — all of it drifts, and the first visible symptom is usually a scrap batch.
Monthly analysis catches the drift while it is still an adjustment rather than a tank dump. It is considerably cheaper than the scrap, which is the entire argument.
What we report
Results, the specification range each was measured against, and a recommended action. Not a spreadsheet of numbers for you to interpret.
If the answer is that nothing needs adjusting, we say that too.
What we are not
We are not a certified independent testing laboratory and we do not issue third-party analytical certifications. Where your specification requires an accredited independent result, you need an accredited independent lab, and we will say so rather than take the work.
The rest of what we do
National-brand chemicals and the Miles line, stocked in Southern California and delivered on our own routes.
Liquid and dry blending from 55 to 6,000 gallons, released against a Certificate of Analysis.
Waste transportation, decontamination, container management, and 24-hour emergency response.
Permitted warehousing, repackaging, inventory management, and just-in-time delivery.
If your approval process needs something that is not here, one email gets it.
Certificates, insurance, registrations, safety data sheets, and completed supplier questionnaires. Standard documents go out the same business day.
